Greetings from the Director
Textile material industry which hugely influences the front•rear business has increased its field as industrial material components fused cutting edge technology on the existing textile materials. In order to respond the request of new technology and future demand in the high demanding field for industry Korea Dyeing & Finishing Technology Institute established “Textile Materials Total Solution Center” in April 2013. The Textile Materials Total Solution Center will build semi-mass-producing facilities and accumulate/supply scattered information to take a role of HUB to boost textile companies’ competitive power. Based on test-bed building, material information bank, simulation business, the Textile Materials Total Solution Center will become the pivot of textile material network with life-cycle support system. Functions and Roles
Textile Materials Total Solution Center is centrally on test-bed which assesses developed textile materials’ mass-production and possibility of commercialization and comprised of textile material information bank which produces and supplies scattered textile material information for customers, simulation center which confirms possibility of commercialization on development level, and company support center which distributes established information.
In order to enhance access to material information and application of test-bed, it established an exhibit hall which provides sensory experience to solve customers’ curiosity of materials and added a function as a storage which can provide ideas for development of new products.
