As a representative cutting edge material of new environmentally friendly and high-integration function and a platform technology which bases for fusion between materials and future technology such as IT, NT, BT, ceramic will lead the change of generation.
In 1912, it started central experiment center under the government, Korean Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology, the best ceramic research center in the country, was become government-funded in 2000 and newly established on 4th May 2009 as an independent corporation. It has focused on technology improvement in the national ceramic field through original technology and mass-production technology R&D, experiments/analysis and technology support.
Korean Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology will continuously enhance internal capacity and functions such as R&D and policy support based on creative thinking and challenging passion as well as lead the future fusion ceramic technology and take a role to improve the national ceramic industry.
